The Four Temperaments

Groep

“Beauty connects the physical with the psychological” This concept has been embraced throughout time within psychology in the Study of Temperaments. All human personalities are divided into four categories (or psychological groups), the suinguinicus (blood), the phlegmaticus (phlegm), the cholericus (yellow bile) and the melancholicus (black bile). Every temperament has its own very specific physical appearance, character traits and special eating and drinking habits. If character is a determinant of human beauty, is it possible to translate this character into shape, color and texture to achieve the beauty within an object.

For instance, how about a cup for each personality? The rough Choleric personality might drink strong expresso, the elegant Sanguine goes for a lungo , the calm Phlegmatic takes an abundant full fat cappuccino and the sober Melancholy drinks a pale ale.
